Tiger Electronics offers Tooth Tunes, a battery-operated toothbrush that plays pop music for 2 minutes while patients brush.
The toothbrush plays Disney tunes for children and songs by Queen and the Beach Boys for adults.
To activate, patients press the rubber switch above the handle. They will then hear a whisper of the song until they apply pressure to the toothbrush’s head or until they place the toothbrush on their teeth. Sound waves travel from the bristles to the jawbone and then to the inner ear.
