Whip Mix, Louisville, Ky, has added to its line of CAD/CAM digital solutions with the ProJet 1200 printer from 3D Systems. The 3D printer is ideal for small, precise, detail-rich parts and casting patterns, such as crowns and bridges. The system’s small bench-top design enables it to be easily integrated into a lab’s existing set-up.
According to Whip Mix, the 3D printer enables users to accelerate workflow with capabilities of printing as many as 12 single units or bridges at a time (up to 80 units per day). The system also will print full contour for eMax® and other pressable ceramics.
