
The conference, titled “A Collaborative Approach for Today’s Patient: Orthodontists and Periodontists Working Together,” features lectures on range of topics, including the use of CBCT in periodontal and orthodontic diagnosis; orthodontic movement and periodontal bone defects; altering alveolar bone volume and biotype through periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics; and new oral plastic surgical techniques to assist the orthodontic patient.
