The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) is offering a justification toolkit for potential attendees to its upcoming annual conference. The conference, which focuses on infection control education for dental professionals, will be held June 2 to 5, 2016, in San Diego.

The conference program includes new infection prevention tools and updates on emerging and re-emerging diseases like Zika and measles. In addition, it addresses the top compliance and safety issues, and offers resources, expert guidance, and evidence-based solutions. Other conference highlights include lessons learned from a disease outbreak from contaminated dental water; “Compliance Briefs,” a series of 5- minute talks; workshops on writing Instructions for Use (IFUs) and infection control certification; updates on antibiotic resistance and HIV/HPV/HCV; and an optional, private, docent-led dental tour of the USS Midway ship.

The justification toolkit aims to help potential attendees demonstrate the potential return on investment (ROI) to supervisors who need to give authorization to attend. The kit includes a template for a justification letter to a supervisor.

Attendees who register by April 30, 2016 are eligible for a discount.
