Henry Schein Inc, Melville, NY, and CareCredit announced that CareCredit’s financing tool is now integrated into Henry Schein’s dental practice management software solutions. The integration is designed to offer dental practices more financing options for their patients, while improving practice efficiency.
Both Dentrix® and Easy Dental® practice management software products will now include CareCredit integration. This will give Henry Schein customers the ability to process CareCredit transactions that automatically write back to the ledger, helping to save time and minimize human error.
In addition, the integration automatically transfers patient information to the CareCredit application. As a result, practice teams can spend less time on administrative tasks and are only required to complete a few fields of information and click “submit” to receive a credit decision within seconds. Staff can also look up a cardholder account number when a patient does not have his or her CareCredit credit card available.
Henry Schein is advising practices that accept CareCredit and use Dentrix or Easy Dental practice management software to contact their software provider for more information and to request a demo of the integration features.
