MacPractice, Lincoln, Neb, has launched the MacPractice DDS iPad app. The app is designed to streamline patient registration and reduce the risk of data entry errors.
The app works in conjunction with MacPractice DDS version 4.1 desktop practice-management and clinical software.
The data entered by patients who complete and sign registration forms in the kiosk app on the iPad is automatically incorporated into the patient’s account in MacPractice DDS. Patients may also complete and sign HIPAA consent and release forms, which are then associated with the patient in MacPractice attachments on the desktop.
