Carestream Health Inc, Rochester, NY, unveiled several new additions to its digital imaging systems at the World Federation of Orthodontists’ 7th Annual International Orthodontic Congress, held in Sydney, Australia this week.

The new products include the following:

• The KODAK 9500 cone beam 3D system captures dual-jaw images or visualizes all angles of patients’ dento-maxillofacial anatomy in one acquisition. The 9500 3D System integrates with Suresmile.

• The KODAK 9000C 3D extraoral imaging system captures 3D, panoramic, and cephalometric images. The system offers one-shot cephalometric imaging, a full range of cephalometric formats, and automatic tracing software.

• The KODAK 1500 intraoral camera* is WiFi capable, and, according to the company. its liquid lens technology instantaneously focuses like the human eye.

• The KODAK RVG 6500 sensor* captures intraoral images and features WiFi technology, intelligent positioning, and iPod Touch/iPhone integration.
