The California Dental Association’s (CDA) biannual conventionran May 12 to 14 in Anaheim, Calif.
According to the association, the convention featured educational courses and about 600exhibitors. New products featured at the exhibit hall included theGreenerStep Snap Toothbrush System™, Colgate Dry Mouth Relief FluorideMouthwash, DENTAMERICA’s Endomax Cordless Endodontic Handpiece, andMidmark’s PowerVac G. In addition, the Waterlase iPlus™ Dual WavelengthAll Tissue Laser, Biolase DaVinci™ Imaging Systems, and Henry Schein/CAOGroup Precise™ LTM were exhibited.
The event also featured several lectures, including "The ‘New’Periodontal Disease: Inflammatory and Risky," given by Samuel B. Low,DDS, MS, Med; "What in the World is That? A Review of Oral Pathology,"given by Lane C. Thomsen, DDS, MS; and "Treating Back and Neck Pain inModern Dentistry: a Survival Guide for the Rest of Your Career," givenby Timothy J. Caruso, PT, MBA, MS, Cert. MDT, CEAS.
