Mouth Kote-MD Mouth Spray was developed to work as a pre-rinse before dental exams to help prevent infection from virus that causes COVID-19. 

Parnell Pharmaceuticals Inc, which develops, manufactures, and markets prescription and OTC drug products, is now offering Mouth Kote-MD Mouth Spray. The spray is based up on MycoDelens, a unique patented compound, and uses natural Yerba Santa. 

According to the California-based company, it has been shown in in vitro laboratory testing to be an effective antiseptic against Antimicrobial Resistant (AMR) pathogens including bacteria, fungi, and coronaviruses such as the SARS-CoV-2 virus. 

Mouth Kote-MD is used as a pre-rinse before dental exams. According to the company, it can be used to help prevent COVID-19 and help restore enamel. 

Registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the EU as a Class 1 medical device. 

According to Parnell Pharmaceuticals, MycoDelens has been documented with in vitro viral studies to be greater than 99.9% effective against the COVID-19 virus. It has also been shown to be effective as well against Streptococcus mutans a major cause of dental caries and Candida albicans.
