Atlanta-based LED Dental, a subsidiary of LED Medical Diagnostics Inc, recently launched a new cloud-based imaging solution, LED Imaging Cloud. According to the company, LED Imaging Cloud combines the performance of LED Imaging Software with the convenience and security of cloud technology.
The web-based system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any location, giving users real-time, remote access to clinical data for their entire patient database. LED Imaging Cloud eliminates the need for large on-site imaging servers to store 2D and 3D clinical data and streamlines the process of syncing data between workstations and multiple locations of large group practices. The off-site servers are backed up continually, providing an extra level of security for critical patient records.
As with its LED Imaging Software, the company applied the same “philosophy of open-architecture” to its cloud system. LED Imaging Cloud can be integrated with any practice management system and most imaging hardware.
