Intiveo has launched Veo, a network of artificial intelligence tools designed to help dental practices manage patient engagement and automated messaging.
Intiveo has announced the launch of Veo, a network of artificial intelligence capabilities integrated into the Intiveo platform. The new tools are designed to assist dental practices in managing patient engagement while allowing providers to maintain oversight and control over communications.
Configurable Patient Engagement
The platform is built to be compliant and configurable, allowing dental teams to adopt the technology at their preferred pace. Providers can clearly identify which actions are automated, which require staff review, and which remain entirely provider-directed.
“There’s a lot of excitement around AI, but there’s also understandable hesitation,” says Josh DeVries, chief executive officer and co-founder of Intiveo, in a release. “Practices aren’t looking for technology that removes the human element from care, they’re looking for technology that helps them strengthen it. That’s why we built Veo to be transparent, configurable, and aligned with the relationships that matter most between practices and their patients. We believe AI should give practices more confidence, not less, in how they communicate and deliver care.”
New Capabilities for Practice Management
The initial rollout of Veo includes two primary capabilities aimed at streamlining practice workflows: Suggestions and Responses.
The Suggestions feature operates during business hours, allowing staff to ask the system for chat template recommendations that match ongoing patient conversations. Staff members can then choose to send the suggested message, edit it, or dismiss it entirely if it does not fit the situation.
For after-hours communication, the Responses feature enables practices to configure the system to automatically reply to common patient inquiries. This includes answering questions regarding new patient intake, office location, and parking details. Any questions that fall outside of the configured topics are automatically routed back to the practice for staff to address.
Intiveo plans to introduce additional capabilities to the Veo network in the future to further support patient communication and practice efficiency.
