The Dawson Academy, St. Petersburg, Fla, is offering a new hands-on course on TMJ problems and restorative dentistry.
 
The Dawson Academy’s 2 1/2-day hands-on course, “The Restorative – TMD Patient: Diagnosis and Treatment Planning,” will be led by James (Jim) R. McKee, DDS, and will take place on October 26-28, 2009 in Naperville, Ill.
 
The course is open to both dentists and specialists for a cost of $4,000 per student. Course size is limited to 12 participants. Those who complete the course will receive a total of 20 continuing education credits. The class is part of The Dawson Academy’s Advanced Restorative Elective Track, and to take the course, students should have completed “Functional Occlusion – From TMJ to Smile Design” and “Achieving Predictable Esthetic Results” courses.
