OraMetrix Inc, Richardson, Tex, introduces SureSmile 5.8, an upgraded version of its treatment planning software. SureSmile 5.8 will be available for commercial use beginning April 30. All SureSmile customers will automatically receive the SureSmile 5.8 upgrade at no additional cost by May 1.
The SureSmile system combines 3D diagnostic imaging with computerized treatment plan modeling and robotic archwire customization. The upgraded SureSmile 5.8 includes a workflow automation system that leads the orthodontist step-by-step through treatment planning decision-making and the appliance management process.
