Hiroshi Kamohara and Nobutaka Watanabe, both of Tokyo, have developed a stirring mixer for dental impression material.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a stirring mixer for a dental impression material to decrease bubbles to be generated in a mixed dental impression material. The mixer has a tubular main body wherein a discharging portion is provided, following the mixing portion via a throttling portion from an injecting portion to which two pastes are injected, and a stirring rod with protruding stirring blades is rotated by a motor.

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,172,338 on February 6. The patent has been assigned to GC Corp, Tokyo.
