Dentagrafix announced its partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB) to offer an exclusive collection of thermoformable plastic sheets featuring official MLB trademarks and designs for use in fabricating dental appliances.
The initial rollout includes licensed marks for the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres, and Milwaukee Brewers. Working with MLB, Dentagrafix plans to expand this collection over time.
Developed by a Board Certified Orthodontist, Dentagrafix uses a proprietary, patent pending manufacturing process to produce the FDA-compliant decorated plastic sheets that form Essix-type removable plastic retainers. As the company puts it, the sheets allow patients to have a more personal attachment to their orthodontic appliances, which will make them more likely to wear and less likely to lose them, improving patient compliance.
