Dentsply Sirona Orthodontics, York, Pa, announced the introduction of GAC Buccal Tubes. According to the company, GAC Buccal Tubes have been completely redesigned and reengineered to reflect input from the orthodontic community.
The tubes feature a patented base that has been contoured to match the buccal surface, and deliver improved fit and bond strength. The fluted mesial entrance on the GAC Buccal Tubes is designed to allow for archwire to enter easily and to slide freely. The low profile design, contoured edges, and malleable hook are aimed at providing better patient comfort.
GAC Buccal Tubes are available as doubles, triples, convertible, weldable, and RT prescriptions. Additional versions are scheduled to be released later in 2017.
