G&H Orthodontics, Franklin, Ind, now offers Pink Flower DesignerTies® elastomeric ligature ties. The ties are designed to provide patients with a way to make a fashion statement with their braces.
DesignerTies are similar in function to traditional elastomeric ligature ties, and, according to the company, have a similar interaction with the bracket and archwire. They are designed to not interfere with traditional mechanics, and to add little to no friction.
DesignerTies are sold 200 ties per pack, with 20 sticks with 10 individual ties.
