Sunstar Americas Inc, Chicago, has released the Sunstar GUM® EasyThread™ Floss, designed for patients with braces, bridges, implants, and other unique oral hygiene needs.
EasyThread Floss is packaged within a traditional floss dispenser and includes a rewind feature to ensure only the proper amount of floss is dispenses. Sample envelopes containing five individual strands are also available for patient in-home trial.
According to the company, each strand of puffy EasyThread Floss features durable threader sections on both ends that are the ideal stiffness, making it less likely to irritate gums, yet stiff enough to access hard-to-reach areas. In addition, by adding threader sections to both ends of the floss, the useful life of each strand is almost doubled.
