DENSYS3d announces that it has achieved an average accuracy of 30 microns with its intraoral camera for use in orthodontics and in treating crowns, bridges, and implants.
According to the company, the bulk of the scanned area returned a result of only 8 microns, exceeding the expectations for a scanner of this kind.
"The accuracies that we have achieved with our intraoral scanner are on a worldclass level, and broaden the applications for which it can be used," said Moshe Ernst, DDS, DENSYS3d’s president and CEO.
