KOMET USA, Rock Hill, SC, has introduced a new Soft Cutter (SC1). According to the company,the device is suitable for detailed acrylic work, including the removalof excess marginal material from orthodontic appliances and detailedtrimming around wire elements.
The Soft Cutter can be used for work in transitional areas between metaland acrylics. It is engineered from a material that is softer thanmetal, which helps prevent damage to both metal and acrylic.
