According to Great Lakes, MPowRX uses gentle suction, rather than the alveolar ridge or dentition, to stay in place, allowing patients to more comfortably swallow. The appliance can be used in children and endentulous patients, as well as those with periodontal problems, TMJ indications, large tongues, complicated dentition, and those in combination therapy with CPAP.
The ‘one-size-fits-most" appliance requires no impression.
