Jaimee Morgan, DDS, and Stan Presley, DDS, will present a 1-day seminar titled ‘Practical Approaches to Composite Resin Bonding with Exquisite Results." The course will cover gingival recontouring, tooth whitening, and pre-prosthetic treatment options to include in the patient plan; integrating optical dimension into composite restorations; predictable shade matching and mastery of the Simplified Layering Technique; and invisible margins and avoidance of intraoral show-through.
The course will be offered July 30, 2010, in Omaha, Neb; August 13, 2010, in Cincinnati; and October 8, 2010, in Portland, Me.
Nasser Barghi, DDS, will present a 1-day seminar titled "Achieving Predictable Aesthetic Results with Direct Anterior and Posterior Composites." Topics to be covered include rethinking traditional concepts for placement of direct aesthetic restorations; efficiently achieving esthetics and function with minimally invasive dentistry; eliminating the show-through effect associated with direct aesthetic restorations; using the concept of translucency on anterior composite veneers; anterior Class III, Class IV, and Class V restorations; posterior direct aesthetic restorations; establishing proper interproximal contacts with composite resin; and achieving more polished composite resin in less chairtime.
