Henry Schein® Orthodontics™, Melville, NY, recently introduced the all-new Carriere SLX Self-Ligating Bracket System. According to the company, the system has been completely redesigned while maintaining its low profile; and offers an optimized version of the Damon Rx and tooth-specific bracket sizes for more precise finishing with fewer rebonds and less wire bending.
The Carriere SLX Self-Ligating Bracket System features multiple visual cues, including six horizontal and five vertical references to help ensure accurate bracket placement. In addition, the brackets’ doors open toward the incisal edges/occlusal plan, a design feature aimed at improving office efficiency and reducing gingival impingement.
