Vaniman introduces the SandStorm Professional (VMC-X25) micro abrasive blaster, which features a new easy-fill media tank. The SandStorm Professional was designed for light duty touch-up and will remove adhesive from brackets fast. The small, self-contained single tank system holds up to 4 pounds of blasting media and has a built-in dust collector. (Orthodontists can add a separate dust collector if the volume of work increases.) The blaster has a large, illuminated panoramic viewing area, foot pedal control, an adjustable air pressure gauge with condensate trap, and a nonclogging media flow design. According to the company, the SandStorm Professional requires only periodic filter cleaning and the occasional replacement of the blasting tip.
