Opal Orthodontics, South Jordan, Utah, now offers Avex CX ceramic twin brackets as part of its Avex suite of products. According to the company, all components of the Avex line, including MX stainless steel brackets, BX buccal tubes, and CXi and CX ceramic brackets, have identical in/out dimensions so they can be used together.
Avex CX is made of a polycrystalline alumina material designed to blend with enamel. The Avex CX design features a unique tie wing shape, mesial/distal pockets, and beveled edges designed to reduce notching.
