Hu-Friedy, Chicago, Ill, is accepting entries for its 10th Annual Ortho Wire Bending Contest. The annual art competition challenges orthodontic professionals to showcase their creativity and produce original wire-bending creations.
Participants may enter in two submission categories: “Single Wire” (one orthodontic wire only) or “Anything Goes” (one or more wires).
This year, the competition offers artists four chances to win:
- Online Competition: (2 winners)
Two winners will be chosen through an online “Voter’s Choice” contest on Hu-Friedy’s social media outlets. Participants can submit photos of their entry from January 21 to March 8, 2013 via Hu-Friedy’s website. All submissions will be voted on from March 11 to April 1, 2013. Online winners will be announced on April 2, 2013, and will be displayed and entered at the onsite contest. All online submissions are eligible to compete in the onsite contest.
- Onsite Competition: (2 winners)
Two winners will be chosen onsite at the 2013 [removed]American Association of Orthodontists Conference[/removed] in Philadelphia from May 3 to 7, 2013. Onsite submissions must be entered at Hu-Friedy’s exhibition booth from May 4 to 6, 2013. Judging will take place on May 6 and winners will be announced on May 7, 2013.
