DentalEZ® Group, supplier of dental health products, will unveil its Simplicity™ line of dental equipment at the 2007 ADA meeting in San Francisco on September 27–30.

The Simplicity Chair features four operator-programmable positions that reduce the time needed for chair adjustment; swing-down arms that provide easy patient entry/exit and allow the practitioner to easily maneuver from left to right without any tools; a thin, tapered back that provides better access to the oral cavity; a chair brake on the practitioner’s side, an optional foot control; optional chair-mounted touch pad controls; and a dual articulating or magnetic headrest.

“The Simplicity by DentalEZ Chair balances durability with ergonomics,” said Aggie Pennington, DentalEZ’s senior product manager. “Its cast iron frame and aluminum casting chair back, armrest, headrest, and base will provide years of dependable use. It has a 60° rotation capability, and the ergonomically designed base plate provides the dental team with free movement from 9:00 to 12:00 positions for enhanced patient and clinician comfort.”

The Simplicity Light features an axis adjustment design that provides shadow-free illumination over the entire oral cavity as well as high and low intensity modes of operation.

“We’ve applied sound ergonomic design to operatory lighting as well,” said Pennington, “The Simplicity by DentalEZ Light features attractive durable aluminum casting and ergonomically designed T-handles for superior ease of movement.”

The Simplicity Chair Mounted Unit provides versatility to place instruments and materials wherever needed, according to the company. The control head houses up to four handpieces and glides smoothly into three positions, pivoting left and right to provide access to instrumentation. An optional fourth handpiece position is also available. The integrated, automatic pinch valve system of the unit provides a trouble-free, long-lasting air supply. The Chair Mounted Unit is equipped with an autoclavable three-way syringe fluid dispensing apparatus as well as a high volume evacuator (HVE) and saliva ejector. It features a standard stainless-steel tray and pad with an optional swivel tray. Each unit features a master on/off switch. The Chair Mounted Unit includes an assistant’s instrumentation arm that features four hangars and an easy-to-clean solids collector. The arm is height-adjustable. An optional cuspidor with a 45° left/right rotation feature is also available.

“The Chair Mounted Unit is equipped with flex-arm air lock positioning for easy patient entry and exit,” Pennington said. “An optional integrated chair touch-pad control allows the dentist and assistant easy access to the chair controls for smooth positioning. The entire Simplicity by DentalEZ product line is an efficient and economical solution for quality, value, and convenience, designed for the entire dental team.”
