American Orthodontics, Henry Schein Orthodontics, and Legally Mine were recognized for their contributions to the orthodontic specialty.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) announced the recipients of its 2026 Supplier of the Year Awards. This year’s honorees include American Orthodontics taking the Gold award, Henry Schein Orthodontics receiving Silver, and Legally Mine earning Bronze.
The awards are determined by a priority point system, where companies accumulate points through activities such as exhibiting at AAO meetings, sponsoring events, and advertising in industry publications.
“The AAO’s Supplier of the Year program recognizes and thanks organizations that support the specialty,” says Trey Lawrence, AAO CEO, in a release. “We are so happy that the corporate community provides products and services that support our members and their work. This year’s winners gave extraordinary support to the AAO over the 2025 – 26 fiscal year. They regularly go above and beyond in helping our members learn about options for patient treatment and practice management.”
Gold Supplier: American Orthodontics
American Orthodontics received the Gold award, which is given to the supplier that earned 11 or more priority points during the last fiscal year with the highest overall point balance. To qualify, the company must have also participated in all AAO constituent meetings the previous year. Founded in 1968, the family-owned manufacturer was recognized for its continued investment in orthodontic education and clinical development.
Silver Supplier: Henry Schein Orthodontics
The Silver award went to Henry Schein Orthodontics. This tier recognizes companies that earned between six and 10 priority points during the previous fiscal year and hold the highest point balance within that group. The company was highlighted for providing orthodontic appliances, treatment solutions, and educational support to practices.
Bronze Supplier: Legally Mine
Legally Mine earned the Bronze award, a category reserved for companies that have joined the AAO exhibiting community within the past three years. To qualify, the supplier must have exhibited at the Annual Session for all three years and maintain the highest priority point balance among new exhibitors. Legally Mine provides asset protection and tax strategy services to help orthodontists manage lawsuit exposure and protect business assets.
