Henry Schein Dental, Melville, NY, was recently presented with the Honorary Corporate Sponsorship award by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) in recognition of the company’s dedication to the dental hygiene profession and support of the ADHA.
The presentation took place during the 2011 Center for Lifelong Learning at the ADHA’s 88th Annual Session in Nashville, Tenn. The ADHA’s Honorary Corporate Membership Award is presented to companies that provide financial support in excess of $15,000 annually for programs that empower, support, and develop dental hygienists and dental hygiene students across the United States.
This is the 20th consecutive year that the award was presented to Henry Schein Dental, which has provided ongoing support for the student table clinics and research poster sessions held each year during the ADHA Annual Session. Henry Schein Dental’s co-sponsorship of this program enables more than 50 student posters and table clinics to be entered for evaluation.
