Smiles Change Lives, Kansas City, Mo, has been named the 2KIND Project’s non-profit of choice for 2012-2013. The 2KIND Project’s mission is to encourage and inspire people to perform random acts of kindness throughout their day, volunteering in their communities, and paying it forward to someone in need. The organization honored Smiles Change Lives for its work providing orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families.
2KIND sells their own specially branded 2KIND products and will donate 30% of every sale back to Smile Change Lives. Additionally, any other donations made to 2KIND during the 2012-2013 fundraising year will go to support the charity. The Project has set up a goal of raising $1,000 for Smiles Change Lives this year in an effort to help communicate their mission.
