Bay Materials Names AB Orthodontics Its South Pacific Distributor

Bay Materials LLC, Fremont, Calif, named AB Orthodontics, Melbourne, Australia, as its distributor for the South Pacific region—ie, Australia and New Zealand. Bay Materials produces the Zendura^® line of dental and orthodontic materials.

Zendura is made from a proprietary, medical-grade polyurethane (TPU) resin. The thermoplastic material is used for fabricating clear aligners and post-treatment retainers.

Zendura is used by dentists, orthodontists, dental laboratories, and clear aligner manufacturers. According to Bay Materials, Zendura has been used in teeth movement and retention periods for as long as 3 years.
