Henry Schein Inc, Melville, NY, has acquired 100% ownership of five European businesses from Arseus NV, Rotterdam, Netherlands. The transaction includes a French software company that handles dental practice management, as well as four distributors serving dental professionals in France, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
The recently acquired companies include Logiciel Julie, a dental practice management software company in France with more than 8,000 installed systems; Arcade Dentaire, a French distributor of dental equipment, related consumables, and IT solutions; Arseus Dental Solutions BV and NV, which distributes dental equipment, related consumables, and IT solutions to dental practices and universities in the Netherlands and Belgium, respectfully; and Arseus Lab, a distributor of specialist products to dental laboratories in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France.
