OrthoAccel® Technologies Inc, Houston, has hired Michigan-based orthodontist, S. Jay Bowman, DMD, as a clinical consultant. Bowman will serve as a clinical educator for the AcceleDent™ System.
AcceleDent is a removable appliance designed to be worn by orthodontic patients for 20 minutes daily to accelerate tooth movement.The AcceleDent System has been available outside the United States since October 2009. FDA clearance is currently pending.
