Pakistan has joined the global orthodontic community with its first international orthodontic conference. The Pakistan Association of Orthodontists (PAO) held its first international orthodontic conference, inconjunction with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, in Karachi.
The event took place September 23 to 25, and aimed to foster therelationship between orthodontists in Pakistan and from around theworld. The conference featured lectures on finishing, Tweed wirebending, lingual orthodontics, and obturators for cleft lip and palatepatients.
