To honor Pulpdent Corp’s 60th anniversary, the company is sponsoring Oral Health America by providing 60,000 sealants for underserved children as part of the National Sealant Alliance’s Smiles Across America program.
"We’re giving a thousand thanks for each of our 60 years," says Fred Berk, vice president of Pulpdent Corp. "That’s 60,000 sealants, and in addition to this important preventive measure, there is a teaching component as well. Parents and children will learn about oral hygiene and caries prevention. We tend to forget that dental caries is the most prevalent disease among children, and much of it can be prevented."
Pulpdent is donating Embrace® WetBond™ Pit and Fissure Sealant, a sealant that bonds to the moist tooth, along with Etch-Rite™ dental etching gel and Flecta Disposable Mirrors.
