Zila Inc introduces its Pro-Select® Platinum piezo ultrasonic scaling system for periodontal therapy. The enhanced version of the Pro-Select was featured at the ADA Annual Session, September 27–30, 2007, in San Francisco.
The Pro-Select Platinum features an LED handpiece that illuminates the oral cavity to improve clinical visibility, a digital display that allows clinicians to easily view current settings and functions, an upgraded multifunction foot pedal that allows full control of all operations, and a closed, three-bottle system that provides a choice of medicaments during therapy.
"The improvements in the Pro-Select Platinum resulted from significant feedback from dental professionals and patients," said Dave Barshis, Zila’s vice president and general manager.
