The webinar, “How Did the COVID-19 Pandemic Affect Dental Earnings,” is based on research conducted by the ADA’s Health Policy Institute

The American Dental Association (ADA) will present a free webinar that will present research findings on how the COVID-19 pandemic affected dentist earnings. The webinar, presented by the ADA’s Health Policy Institute, will be streamed at 12:00pm CT

According to the ADA, this is the first time an analysis has been presented about the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the net income of dentists.

Marko Vujicic, PhD, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute, will lead the webinar. He is the co-author of the research brief the findings are based on.

The webinar is set to highlight the difference in net income in 2020 compared to 2019, including hours worked. It will also look at how specialist dentists fared, the impact on female dentists, and how much government relief dentists received.

The webinar will include time for an audience Q&A.

No CE credit will be available with this webinar. According to the ADA, a recording of the webinar will be available to participants who register a few days after the webinar streams live.
