Kodak announced that it has signed an agreement with ScreenPlay Technologies to be a distributor of ScreenPlay software to certain Kodak practice-management software users. ScreenPlay software is an interactive, chairside patient-education tool that translates technical details about specific orthodontic procedures into meaningful, easy-to-understand information.

“We have long felt the need for a solution to help orthodontists convey their diagnosis and treatment recommendations in a meaningful and compelling way to patients,” says Bryan Delano, orthodontic sales director of Kodak’s PracticeWorks Systems, LLC, subsidiary. “We have been looking for some time to find the right product to fit this need for our orthodontic customers and the Screenplay software product effectively delivers patient-education and unique case-acceptance tools to our customers.”

Under the agreement, Kodak has exclusive rights to market and sell the  Screenlay Pro, ScreenPlay Single-user, and ReferralWare software products to Kodak’s orthodontic customers in the United States and Canada.
