J. Morita USA, Irvine, Calif, has introduced the Veraview X800, a 3D, panoramic and cephalometric x-ray to its imaging product line.
The Veraview X800 can be used for both 2D and 3D evaluation and features an innovative sensor positioning system that automatically sets the optimal x-ray beam angle, horizontal for 3D or raised 5° for 2D panoramic images. According to the company, this sensor positioning system improves image clarity.
The unit also offers a voxel size of up to 80 µm and a resolution of 2.5 LP/mm. Additional features include 360° or 180° rotation, panoramic scout for easier and more precise positioning, dose reduction mode, and zoom reconstruction—which reduces the need for retakes.
The Veraview X800 comes with a free 3-year warranty.
