Young Innovations will distribute OrthoNu’s orthodontic self-care product line across the U.S. through its Young Specialties division.
Young Innovations has entered into a distribution agreement with OrthoNu that will make the company’s self-care orthodontic products available nationwide through Young Specialties.
Young Expands Orthodontic Portfolio
The deal adds a new line of at-home tools to Young Specialties’ orthodontic offerings. The products, which include patented items designed to help patients manage discomfort and appliance issues between visits, are intended to improve patient experience and reduce in-office emergencies.
John Frymark, Vice President of North America Direct at Young Innovations, said the partnership brings together two companies focused on delivering better clinical outcomes. “Our partnership with OrthoNu brings two companies together committed to advancing patient care, giving providers advanced clinical options, and bringing unique, innovative solutions to market,” said Frymark. “Together, we aim to deliver a broad portfolio of functional, practical, and top-tier self-care solutions that professionals and consumers can trust without reservation.”
OrthoNu Targets U.S. Market Growth
For OrthoNu, the partnership provides a significant expansion into the U.S. market through an established distribution partner. The company’s products are marketed as the first to focus entirely on patient-driven solutions for use outside the dental office. According to the company, 85 to 90 percent of orthodontic patients experience issues during treatment that these products are designed to address.
The product line includes Chillin’ Strips, a dissolvable and moldable strip for irritation relief; OrthoChewz, a dissolvable chew intended to ease discomfort and dry mouth; Comfort Tape, for sore gums and teeth; mouth-aid, a formula for oral sores and ulcers; and Tweakz, a multitool for managing dislodged brackets and sharp wires.

OrthoNu Founder Cites Shared Objectives
Dr Sima Yakoby Epstein, founder of OrthoNu, said the partnership is aligned with the company’s mission to improve continuity of care. “We are enthusiastic to work with Young. Their well-defined strategy and approach to strikingly enhance the quality of continuity in patient care outside of a dental chair, while simultaneously driving practice efficiencies, is a natural complement to our mission,” said Epstein. “Through this aligned partnership and shared objectives, we are confident that we will see growth, success, and satisfaction for everyone involved.”
