Nobel Biocare and PracticeWorks Inc, maker of Kodak Dental Systems, have entered into an agreement, in which PracticeWorks will incorporate Nobel Biocare implant systems into its Kodak OMS Imaging Software implant module. The agreement ensures that Nobel Biocare customers can leverage the benefits offered by Kodak OMS Imaging Software including perfect case presentation and patient education.

“We are pleased to begin collaborating with Nobel Biocare, the top implant supplier in the OMS industry,” said Robert Patrick, product line manager for the OMS business at PracticeWorks. “Incorporating Nobel Biocare implant technology into our software allows us to continue offering our customers high-tech innovations in the OMS field.”

Kodak OMS Imaging Software allows quick compilation of patient photographs and information from chairside with the touch of a button. This tool allows dental professionals to capture, store, and manage digital image records with minimal training. The Implant Module allows oral surgeons to simulate the placement of implants on a patient’s panoramic x-ray image for case presentation and patient education. With the help of the Implant Module, patients can visualize what an implant will look like in their mouths.
