Planet DDS has expanded its Launchpad Program for early-stage, multi-location dental groups, offering new technology packages, pricing flexibility, and expert support to help practices scale.
Planet DDS announced the expansion of its Launchpad Program, aimed at helping early-stage, multi-location dental groups build scalable, cloud-based operations. Now entering its second year, the program’s 2025 offering introduces a refreshed structure with multiple curated technology bundles and new pricing tiers, allowing practices to better align their investment with their size, growth goals, and budget.
“With Launchpad, we’re giving emerging dental groups affordable access to the technology solutions and resources they need to operate efficiently and focus on creating meaningful connections with patients while delivering superior care,” said Eric Giesecke, CEO of Planet DDS.

Updated Features for 2025
Among the new features, practices can now choose from three technology packages, each designed with different capabilities to meet varying operational needs. The program also offers significant first-year savings, with groups receiving up to 80% off practice management and imaging software in the initial year, aiming to make enterprise-grade technology more accessible during a critical stage of growth.
Launchpad participants receive personalized onboarding, education, and support from leading dental consultants to help ensure successful implementation. The program’s technology platform includes Denticon Practice Management and Apteryx Cloud Imaging with AI, providing a scalable foundation that allows organizations to expand their operations more efficiently. Designed to reduce administrative burden, these cloud-native tools help streamline scheduling, patient communications, revenue cycle management, and analytics, ultimately supporting practices in delivering higher-quality patient care. Additionally, participants gain early access to enterprise-level tools, enabling them to transition away from fragmented systems toward a unified platform for smarter, faster decision-making.
Application Details and Eligibility
Applications for the 2025 Launchpad cohort are now open to new Planet DDS customers, with a limited number of spots available. The program is intended for privately owned or founder-led dental groups operating between two and nine locations with annual revenues ranging from $2 million to $12 million. Groups backed by private equity or venture capital are not eligible for participation.
Dee Fischer, CEO of Fischer Professional Group, emphasized the importance of the program, stating, “Giving emerging groups access to enterprise-ready technology and support—at this level of affordability—is truly a game changer. For growing dental groups, building a strong operational foundation and scalable processes early on is critical. Launchpad equips them with tools to do so. I strongly encourage growing groups to take full advantage of this opportunity.”
