ADSTRA Systems, Chadds Ford, Pa, introduces an Emdeon ExpressBill Electronic Statements Services Module within its ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS™ free management software program. The module allows users to submit billing information electronically to Emdeon (formerly WebMD), where invoices and statements are printed and mailed to patients. The new version is available as a free download after first calling ADSTRA at (800) 450-0220.
 
The Emdeon Expressbill Services Module allows ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS users to submit patient billing information with a few simple clicks of the mouse. In addition to submitting their claims electronically, offices will now be able to also transmit their statements electronically to Emdeon, where invoices and statements are prepared the next business day. This service prepares accurate, easy-to-read paper documents.
 
ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS contains the essential components of ADSTRA’s practice-management software program. It provides tools for patient registration, treatment charges, electronic claims submission through Emdeon, payment tracking, and complete ledger cards. The program also includes treatment logs, treatment planning, predeterminations, clinical notes, prescriptions, and orthodontic treatment logs. The ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS software is free with Emdeon registration. Without Emdeon registration, the free software allows up to 300 patients and charges.
