Discus Dental’s Desktop Lasers Approved for Canadian Sales

Discus Dental LLC, Culver City, Calif, now offers its SoftLase Pro, HygieneLase, and Ortholase desktop soft-tissue diode lasers in Canada. The lasers have been approved as a Class III Medical Device by Health Canada.

The SoftLase Pro performs soft-tissue management for both surgical and nonsurgical procedures. HygieneLase is designed to for use by hygienists for treatment of periodontal disease. The Ortholase can be used for soft-tissue exposures and gingivectomies with  no local anesthesia and with minimal bleeding.
