Whole You Inc, San Jose, Calif, has launched two new oral appliances for obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. The company now offers the Respire Pink Endurance Framework (EF) and Respire Pink Micro.
The two appliances are specially designed for those who require additional tongue space or for those with a smaller mouth.
Respire Pink EF (pictured) uses a durable alloy material to create a thin lingual coverage product that allows for increased comfort and tongue space. According to the company, it also uses telescopic hardware allowing lateral and vertical movement of the mouth, making it suitable for those who also suffer from bruxism or teeth grinding.
Respire Pink Micro is a custom-fit appliance and features shorter adjustment arms for increased comfort, especially when worn by those patients with a smaller mouth. Also using telescopic hardware that allows lateral and vertical movement, the Pink Micro is designed for those with obstructive sleep apnea who grind their teeth.
In the coming months, Whole You also expects to launch Respire Blue Endure Framework (EF) oral appliance. While also using a durable alloy material, it features a dual block design with interlocking wings, making it less intrusive and offering patients the freedom to open and close the mouth.
