DB Orthodontics released a lower profile version of its Evolve bracket, featuring a 15% reduction in height.
The Evolve LP has the same mesio-distal width as the previous Evolve bracket, giving orthodontists needed rotational control. All Evolve brackets reportedly have torque in the base, a low friction slot for easy wire insertion, beveled tie wings for patient comfort and aesthetics, and a mushroom shaped hook to secure chains and attachments. The center scribe line helps provide more accurate placement in line with the tooth axis, while the etched palladium alloy base is intended to provide a reliable mechanic bond.
Each bracket features color coding to aid in quadrant identification. Evolve LP is available in Roth and MBT prescriptions.
