Henry Schein has released the ACCLEAN Cordless Hygiene Handpiece, a new device designed for efficient stain removal and improved ergonomics in dental hygiene procedures.


Henry Schein Inc launched the ACCLEAN Cordless Hygiene Handpiece, a lightweight, cordless device designed for dental hygiene procedures. Distributed exclusively through Henry Schein, the handpiece is intended to support efficient stain removal while offering ergonomic features for hygienists.

The device weighs under 113 grams and is equipped with a high-output torque motor designed to maintain speed under pressure. It features a brushless motor for extended durability, six adjustable speed settings, and a silicone sleeve for grip. A customizable color band allows for visual identification in multi-user settings. The device also offers hands-free speed control via an optional wireless foot pedal.

The handpiece includes a removable, autoclavable nosecone to support infection control protocols. It is powered by two rechargeable batteries designed to provide all-day use.

The ACCLEAN Cordless Hygiene Handpiece is compatible with most disposable prophy angles, including ACCLEAN Disposable Prophy Angles. A sample pack of the angles is included with each handpiece.
