Space Maintainers Laboratories has two upcoming seminars offered through its Study Club program, focusing on sleep-related treatment.

The current Study Club program started in fall 2021, releasing 3 seminars through January 2022.

This year’s program focuses on Teledontics-Telegnathics and Bale-Doneen methodologies as collaborative dental/medical approaches for management of sleep related breathing and masticatory/temporomandibular joint disorders in children and adults.

Seminar 4 takes place on March 9 and covers pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of masticatory and temporomandibular joint disorders caused by sleep disordered breathing.

Presenters include Steve Carstensen, DDS, FAGD, FICD, FACD, Jay Levy, DMD, and Joseph Yousefian, DMD, MS, MA.

Seminar 5 takes place on May 11, and covers Micro-Implant Assisted Nasomaxillary Expansion as a noble noninvasive treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

Presenters include Yousefian, Levy, Sam Bobeck, DMD, MD, FACS, and Henry Rowshan, DDS.

CE credits earned in Study Club seminars can be applied to American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Board Certification.
