AAO members are invited to review and comment on resolutions to be considered at the 2025 House of Delegates meetings during the Annual Session in Philadelphia.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is inviting its members to comment on proposed resolutions that will come before the 2025 House of Delegates (HOD). These policies are set to be reviewed and finalized in conjunction with the AAO Annual Session taking place in Philadelphia.
The HOD Reference Committees will hold public hearings on Thursday, April 24, to gather member input before presenting final resolutions for voting during the HOD’s second meeting on April 27. The hearings will be held in rooms PCC 123, PCC 124, and PCC 125 of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET.
Members who cannot attend in person are encouraged to review the proposed resolutions and post comments online by noon CDT on April 22. According to the AAO, “All comments on resolutions posted by noon CDT on April 22 will be considered as testimony by the HOD Reference Committees during their hearings on April 24.”
In addition to commenting, members are welcome to observe the HOD meetings either in person or through a livestream on the AAO Facebook page. The schedule for the 2025 HOD meetings is as follows:
- First HOD Meeting: Thursday, April 24, 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET
- Second HOD Meeting: Sunday, April 27, 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET, or until business concludes
