NorthStar Orthodontic Laboratory, Park Rapids, Minn, was recently honored at the Smiles Change Lives (SCL) 6th Annual Gini Awards. The Gini Awards honor those who have gone above and beyond to inspire hope, raise self-esteem, and help change the lives of thousands of children across the United States and Canada by providing braces for kids whose families cannot afford the full cost of orthodontic treatment.
This annual event honors the orthodontic providers, referring dentists, volunteers, sponsors, and board members who have gone above and beyond to support the mission of SCL. SCL works with over 800 orthodontic providers nationwide to provide braces to children throughout the United States and Canada.
NorthStar Orthodontics has been a long-time sponsor and business partner of SCL. For the past 5 years, NorthStar Orthodontics has donated retainers for each child receiving braces through the SCL program. NorthStar’s partnership with SCL allows participating orthodontists to treat more children by alleviating the financial concern of providing retainers to each child.
